AKON TO PERFORM AT LIVE EARTH CONCERT THIS SATURDAY

Akon is to perform along with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, John Mayer, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Ludacris, AFI, Bon Jovi among many others July 7th in New Jersey as a part of one of the eight concerts being held around the world to raise awareness of Global Warming. Former US vice President Al Gore will also be there. Other concerts will be held in London; Tokyo; Shanghai, China; Johannesburg, South Africa; Sydney, Australia; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Hamburg, Germany. Other headliners include; Beastie Boys, Madonna, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Rihanna & Pharrell . The Live Earth Concerts are all set to go down on 7-7-07 & will be aired on NBC.
